2004 Volvo S60 Seat Room and Comfort: Cons
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2005 4dr Sedan turbocharged 208hp 2.5L I5
5-speed shiftable automatic AWD
Minimal rear seat leg room. Our kids are 9 & 8 - we are having to look for a replacement car as they are getting too big for this one. To offset the front seats are as comfortable as I have experienced in a car. Now considering an S80 or XC70. see full Volvo S60 review
2004 4dr Sedan turbocharged 300hp 2.5L I5
5-speed shiftable automatic AWD
The rear leg room for this mid sized sedan is pretty poor. if you or your friends and family are over 5 and half feet tall you will not fit four people in this car comfortably see full Volvo S60 review
2004 4dr Sedan turbocharged 300hp 2.5L I5
6-speed manual AWD
If an average sized driver has the front seats in a comfortable position, children in the back still have their legs nearly pinned against the back of the seats in front of them. The seats theselves are very comfortable, though. see full Volvo S60 review
2004 4dr Sedan turbocharged 300hp 2.5L I5
6-speed manual AWD
Forget about rear leg room. If you have adults sitting back there, they will be uncomfortable unless you push the front seats way up to give them legroom. In which case the front driver passenger will be uncomfortable. see full Volvo S60 review
2004 4dr Sedan 168-horsepower 2.4L I5
5-speed automatic FWD
Though I have no intention of sitting in the rear seat, it would be uncomfortable for an adult for an extended trip of more than 30 minutes or so. It simply has no legroom. see full Volvo S60 review
2004 4dr Sedan turbocharged 208hp 2.5L I5
5-speed automatic FWD
If you have adult passengers on a long drive its way too small. see full Volvo S60 review
2004 4dr Sedan turbocharged 208hp 2.5L I5
5-speed automatic FWD
Short leg room. Fine for Kids, but not for adults see full Volvo S60 review

TrueDelta Reviews the Seat Room and Comfort of the 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee

2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Seat Room and Comfort: Pros
YearComment
2013 You can buy a BMW X5 or Porsche Cayenne with tame front seats, but not the Grand Cherokee SRT8. In the Jeep, SRT's signature buckets are standard. Large, firm bolsters provide excellent lateral support even to those of us with slender builds. Yet they're also comfortable, with enough padding to avoid park bench references. The four-way adjustable lumbar didn't do much for my back, but your experience may vary. Moving to the back seat, the Grand Cherokee's growth adds a couple of badly needed inches to legroom. With this improvement the Grand Cherokee only matches other similarly sized SUVs, so it's not a reason to buy. But rear seat legroom is no longer a reason not to buy, so it bears mentioning. see full Jeep Grand Cherokee review

2014 4dr SUV 290-horsepower 3.6L V6
8-speed shiftable automatic AWD w/low range
The cabin is a very serene place to be, aided by the comfortable front seats. With the leather seat option, both front seats and two rear seats came with seat heaters. Also, both front seats are power adjustable, including height and lumbar. The lumbar support is great for long trips, allowing you to change wear the seat contacts your back for less overall fatigue. see full Jeep Grand Cherokee review
