How is the rust on your volvo?

I would like to know, for S60 owners with a car older than 4 years (2016 or prior) has there been any rust or corrosion on the frame, body, or exhaust? I live in Vermont where the roads are heavily salted. I hear good things about volvo rust protection but was curious.

Also, are repairs and maintenance for this vehicle expensive as compared to ford, toyota and non-European brands?
