I have to say this is a strong suit for this car. The seat is adjustable from every angle imaginable and is well made. The seat itself provides good support but is the most comfortable car seat I've ever sat in. It is gentle, but holds you in place, is a perfect shape and firmness in my opinion obviously. My sister's jetta (year 2000) is a junkyard with nails and mud compared to the driving position and comfort of the volvo. The seats are heated and leather for passenger and driver. The only downside?
