All controls are within reach and have a positive, quality feel to them. I do like the black leather with the dark, polished wood trim and steering wheel. The glove box is huge and there is adequate storage for small items.
Every time I look at other sedans, they seem rather bland and undefined compared to the S80. The body is curved yet defined, with creases in the from hood and a bold rear view, especially of the taillights. The wheel are beautiful
Best safety rating and swift, firm braking. Friends have been saved over the last 30 years by driving Swedish cars, most of them Volvos. They do cost more initially, but if it save the life of a loved one....
Long trip to FL and back, very quite ride with the sun roof closed, open it is very loud, as in most cars.
