I wasn't familiar with it so I took it in. Exhaust cam variable valve timing sprocket failed making a terrible noise. Shop replaced sprocket and relevant seals that had to be disturbed by the job.

Replaced ignition key lock cylinder to fix issue. Radiator cracked and failed. Had towed to shop to confirm diagnosis. Decided to replace radiator myself with a genuine Volvo radiator. Refilled coolant with 50/50 mix of distilled water and genuine Volvo coolant.
