2006 XC90

Hey all,

I own a 2006 XC90 V8. So far so good. I live in two places and am looking at getting another, identical model, but with 162k miles. Private sale, maintenance records are awesome. Brakes just rebuilt, wheel bearings just replaced.
What are common maintenance issues I need to be aware of, other than the ususal wear and tear? I did check the engine serial number for the counter balance shaft.
I really like my first xc90, but I am not sure if I am opening two cans of worms by owning two high mileage xc90...

I am driving about 10k miles a year.

A coworker owns this exact model. I leaned over to ask about issues. Standard maintenance issues on the 2006 model would be belts, hoses, some minor leaks. The big issues are the transmission and struts... both needing replaced at about 100k miles.

The reason I traded my 2005 V8 XC90 was because the transmission was failing at 110k miles. Engine and everything else worked wonderfully but I was not going to pay $8k to replace tranny. I miss my Volvo.
