This car is the best kept secret in America. I have 175k miles on mine and it runs like new. 2006 Pontiac Vibe Love Letter BMPONY Very reliable, low cost maint., can do alot yourself, great mpg, very comfortable on 18+ hr trips, handles great, surprising room inside way more than it looks, Im looking for another 1 but not many for sale, people i talk 2 r like me, going 2 drive it till it... |
2006 Pontiac Vibe Pros and Cons Member5830 Really nice vehicule, the styling was better than the Toyota Matrix with the same engine. |

2006 Pontiac Vibe Pros and Cons Member2717 The service department has typical GM attitude: you bought the car it is your problem now. Actually GM now if government problem. In addition there is no dealer: Pontiac is gone. |

2006 Pontiac Vibe Pros and Cons Member2725 I get 27-28 mpg in the cold winter and 30+ in the summer/fall. I love filling up once every few weeks. |

2006 Pontiac Vibe Pros and Cons Member963 I picked up mine at the end of May 2007, but it was a new 2006. I was able to negotiate a significant discount and combined that with the GM family plan to save more than $5000 off the list price. |

2006 Pontiac Vibe Pros and Cons Member763 It would only fit the 2 kids in their seat. There is a 3rd belt, but the car seats took up the space where the adult would go between them. |

2006 Pontiac Vibe Pros and Cons A member in Alberta, Canada Lots of room in the hatchback, much more than anything comparable. |

2006 Pontiac Vibe Pros and Cons Member622 Other than external appearance, the Pontiac Vibe is a union made, made in USA Toyota Matrix, while the Toyota Matrix is a Canadian made, not yet union made [although the CAW is trying] car. Both are fantastic cars. |

2006 Pontiac Vibe Pros and Cons Member332 It took me a while to get used to the front visibility on the Vibe and I think it could be improved. I found the front body pillars ( the A-pillars ) of the car sometimes interfered with visibility, largely because of the rake of the front windshield. |
