2012 Ford Mustang 2dr Coupe

412-horsepower 5.0L V8 6-speed manual RWD

25420 mi Dealer replaced both rear stabilizer links under warranty due to annoying "squeak" over road imperfections.
Sold Mustang before the warranty ended because of many recent repairs. Power steering broke, SYNC CPU broke, paint on steering wheel buttons rubbed off, leaves clogged HVAC intake.
59000 mi

US $253
Clunking sound from front end when driving over bumps at lower (Sub 30) speeds. Shop diagnosed as front stabilized control links; replaced, noise now gone.
26000 mi Sway bar link bushings
8000 mi Front control arms squeaked over bumps. Dealer lubed rack.
26500 mi Front control arm bushings were noisy over bumps. Dealer replaced control arms and control arm bushings with newly-designed parts (per TSB) and installed heat shields to divert heat from the engine away from the bushings.
17300 mi Front control arms replaced per TSB 11-07-08
15500 mi Front sway bar end links squeaked upon turning wheel; front sway bar replaced (end links were part of the assembly)

2012 Ford Mustang 2dr Coupe

412-horsepower 5.0L V8 6-speed automatic RWD

9200 mi Front end Squeak/Grunt/Creak, from lower control arms. Note: TSB 12-8-24 fixed it.
19700 mi The front lower control arms began making a kind of a clunking sound at slow speeds, over bumps or tight turns. Dealer diagnosed and said there was a TSB with a redesigned part. Covered under warranty.
35000 mi Rear sway bar links were bad; the car would make a creaky noise over medium size bumps in the road. Took one day to diagnose and two days to repair as the wrong parts were ordered initially.
48000 mi

US $35
The front end made a creaky noise at slow speeds over sharp bumps (i.e., speed bump, end of driveway). I suspect the front lower control arms but the dealer said they're fine. They lubed the sway bar links but its too soon to tell
65000 mi The front lower control arms creaked over bumps and it was getting increasingly louder. They were probably due to be replaced again, this time with the revised part with heat shields, but I sold the car instead.
29000 mi Replaced right front lower control arm due to bushing noise.

27000 mi Clunking from rear end was the symptom. The dealer looked and had to replace the entire rear stabilizer bar assembly. The bar wasn't in stock & had to be ordered. The car was still drivable, so I came back 4 days later when part arrived.
