10000 mi I would NEVER buy another Acura product ever again. The NAV maps are three years old and ACURA has no map upgrades planned for the MDX. Also, new software to fix known issues (TSB) was made available for the 2015 model MDX, but not 2014.

31000 mi The rear door refuses to open sometimes. The driver door handle does not senses my touch to unlock the door. I am not sure if this is the case on all doors, i have not remembered to test them. I get too flustered when this happens to remember.

17000 mi Traded car due to ongoing intermittent electrical issues.
15000 mi Battery drained for unknown reason

Trouble code 12 volt charging system not working. Thought it could be the battery or the alternator. We took it to the dealer, who diagnosed the problem as a bad battery. ZERO cold cranking amps. The battery was original to the car from July 2013, so ~49 months of ownership, but 128,000 miles. Total cost between diagnostic and new battery was ~$250.
43000 mi Battery failed, replaced under original manufacturer's warranty.
15000 mi The HVAC fan bearings where squeaking.
48000 mi

65000 mi

US $1200
After a local body shop work on exterior damage, electrical actuators in one of the rear doors stopped working. An Acura dealer attempted repairs, but determined that a fix would require disassembling doors, adding three days to the repair time. We decided to postpone the repairs until the next scheduled maintenance visit.
27000 mi Remote start TSB
35000 mi Sudden drain earlier in the quarter. After battery replacement, two episodes where system flashed and all electric devices (not just electronic - even the dome lights) died. No resolution after a few days in the shop other than noting that rain triggered the problem.

39060 mi was listening to radio for 10minutes and the car was unable to start. had to wait one hour for roadside assistance-boasted the car and it started and no problem after a week. should be fine BUT unacceptable for a newer car like this to need a boost after 10 minutes

29000 mi The computer systems do not work correctly. Nav is jumpy - hard to focus, brake warning does not work or comes on at strange times, camera does not go on or stays on. Dealer says they cannot reproduce. Other owners note the same.
31700 mi Nav screen went blank several times. Nav created a terribly long path to desired point. Common trip so I know what path the computer will choose. Failure of Nav. Seat memory would not work. Dealer claimed they could not find problem. I went to dealer and showed them it did NOT work. OH!!! Now we see it. They fixed it by replacing battery. They could not believe it. Fix suggested by Acura central.
