Why the 2010 Acura TL?

Handling

This car handles like it is on rails...it is surefooted in both wet and dry conditions although I would recommend dedicated winter tires for those living in the snow belt.

Powertrain performance

The engine is this vehicle is powerful and satisfying...power is linear and the engine sounds are just right...quiet and unobtrusive when driven conservatively yet a very satisfying growl when you decide to be a bit more agressive.

Front seat support & comfort

The front seats in this automobile are trimmed in supple leather yet are nice and firm in the European style for all day comfort. I look forward to some longer trips once spring arrives.

Reliability & durability

Having previously driven a 2003 CL-Type S I have over 7 years of previous ownership experience and over 16 years total driving Honda/Acura products. With regular maintenance these cars are bulletproof and require very little maintenance.

Past personal experience

I previously drove a 2003 Acura CL-Type S and was very pleased with its performance and reliability...this vehicle never stranded me and required very little repairs in addition to regular maintenance items. I would expect my new TL to have similar traits

Why Not the 2010 Acura TL?

Fuel economy

Coming from a 3.2 engine that regularly got 22-23 mpg it it a bit disappointing that the 2010 TL with the 3.7 gets only 18-19 mpg. I would expect with the engine technologies improvement over the years that the bigger engine could get better fuel mileage.
