While the 2.0T has power to spare, it can also achieve excellent economy when driven lightly. I average 26 mpg/city with spirited driving, and I hit 32 mpg/highway easily (36+ mpg when babying it). The DSG transmission is more efficient than a manual too! |

I have the APR Stage 2 chip with a catless downpipe. Putting down about 235hp and 250tq. On a recent 250 mile each way trip I got 28mpg at 70mph. Going up many hills and possibly passing some people with my foot on the floor. TL;DR V6 power with 2.0 mpg. |
