2016 Audi S3 Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh For a car that can get from zero to 60 mph in under five seconds, the Audi S3 can be quite economical. The tested 2016's EPA ratings were 23 mpg city, 31 mpg highway. For 2017, the S3's ratings have fallen to 21/28 for no obvious reason. Maybe the updates... 2016 Acura ILX Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh High-revving largish fours aren't the fashionable route to fuel efficiency. But the 201-horsepower 2.4-liter engine when mated to an eight-speed dual clutch automated manual transmission (DCT) returns EPA ratings of 25 mpg city, 36 mpg highway--better than the 2013-2015 ILX managed with a 150-horsepower 2.0-liter engine. The Audi with its... Comparison vehicle: 2015 Audi A3 / S3 |
2015 Audi A3 Review Official TrueDelta review by Michael Karesh EPA ratings are 24 mpg city, 36 mpg highway for the 1.8T FWD and 24 mpg city, 34 mpg highway for the 2.0T AWD. The figures for the latter are especially impressive given its performance. The CLA manages better numbers with front-wheel-drive (26/38) but not with all-wheel-drive (24/32). Such... 2006 Audi A3 Pros and Cons A member in Alaska, United States I have the APR Stage 2 chip with a catless downpipe. Putting down about 235hp and 250tq. On a recent 250 mile each way trip I got 28mpg at 70mph. Going up many hills and possibly passing some people with my foot on the floor. TL;DR V6 power with 2.0... |

2008 Audi A3 Pros and Cons Member3241 I am getting 30+ MPG in mixed 50/50 city/hwy driving. Hwy MPG if <70 MPH is easily 34 MPG+. If it had 7 gears, MPG at 70+ would be far better. |

2007 Audi A3 Pros and Cons A member in Florida, United States While the 2.0T has power to spare, it can also achieve excellent economy when driven lightly. I average 26 mpg/city with spirited driving, and I hit 32 mpg/highway easily (36+ mpg when babying it). The DSG transmission is more efficient than a manual too! |
