The ZF 8 speed transimission is terrible. Mine jerks/bumps/bogs/surges/and makes tons of noise. It gets praise in the press but mine has been horrible. It has been to the dealer multiple times to only be told it's operating within specification. I don't understand the hype. I've had this transmission for 2 years and if this is what passes for smooth, great transmission, the auto industry is in trouble.
My Audi has a squeak in the rear suspension that began with around 1200 miles on the clock. The dealer can duplicate the noise, but has no offer to fix...just another "characteristic"
