A very nice looking car, a pleasure to drive WHEN IT WAS RUNNING. Not very reliable.

This was a very nice looking car, I got a lot of compliments while driveing this car.
The Audi was a very smooth and pleasant car to drive, especially on the highway.
Fit and finish was top quality
At the 60,000 milemark the car started to have mechanical problems, in particualr with the fuels system. I went through 5 fuel pumps, both hiigh and low pressure in a 1.5 year time frame. The dealership and a very reputable independant shop could not figure out what was wrong with the fuel system and why the car kept burning out the fuel pump.
When I purchased the car from a dealership in the Chicago area they provided free loaner cars anytime the car was in for service or mechanical problems. I had to move for my job and the new local dealer would not provide a loaner, they had a rental car policy. As mentioned above with all of the issues I had with the fuel system, the car was in the dealership often. Luckily I had a CPO car and the pats were all still covered under warranty. The rentals were not and the dealership never had the parts in stock so the car was in for weeks at a time making the rentals quite expensive.
I woud not buy this car from SUDS, the dealership in Bloomington IL.
