I can't believe that they let this thing roll off the line. These cars are plagued with problems from end to end, including electrical and mechanical. The ZF tranny is so unreliable and flawed, the motor has design issues that are so ridiculous I can't even believe that they exist. Worst car I have ever owned by far, and I have owned a lot of them.
RUN, do not walk, away from any E65/E66 BMW produced. I don't care how many miles it has on it, they start to self destruct around 30,000 and they will cost you a fortune to drive. DO NOT BUY.

How is my report invalid? This is a place that people go for information about vehicles, is it not? If they are looking for that information, this is relevant to them, regardless of age. This is what they have to look forward to owning a 7 series of this vintage and I make mileage statements that correspond to the problems I experienced.
I must have missed the part where we only review brand new vehicles here.
FYI I owned the car for many years and my input on it is from real world experience at many different times throughout my history with it.
