Why the 2015 Buick LaCrosse?

Ride smoothness

Rides nice on a smooth road. Not so nice otherwise.

Every bump is transferred right to to seat. On a 200 mile trip on a highway with lots of patches it is very tiresome ..not pleasant .
Generally you are aware of all bumps, Suspension parts do not do the job of dampening you would expect on a Buick.
Our first Buick was a 1993 LeSabre and it was the very best in every category.

Why Not the 2015 Buick LaCrosse?

Ride smoothness

Way too rough . Every bump is felt.

Very tiring after a few hours. Seats are leather and hard.
I use a pillow. Then the seat must be lowered for head / ceiling clearance.
Seats are very adjustable.

What tire size do you have? The 19" or 20" wheel a d tire combination can provide very sporty driving dynamics while being too firm on rougher roads.

My Mother has the previous generation LaCrosse on 17" wheels and it rides nice for al.ost 70,000 miles.

thanks for your comments

I have 19 inch wheels...as you say.... the car has a sporty feel to it, lots of power good fuel economy as well.

Very nice vehicle other than the ride.

36 mpg, on a 200 mile run (Imperial gallons ) Happy with that.

21 mpg mixed driving.
