2007 Chevrolet Cobalt Pros and Cons at TrueDelta: Owner Pros and Cons by tarynw7

Fuel economy
Under good highway driving conditions the Cobalt can go 700km on a single tank, but even in harsh conditions fuel economy is reasonable.
Front seat support & comfort
The 6 way adjustable drivers seat really makes for a comfortable ride. Driving upwards of 700km a day for 4 days straight gave me a great chance to test this out, and I never once got stiff and sore.
Audio & nav systems
The included 7 speaker audio system is everything I want - loud, deep bass, but clear sound. Occasional distortion is sometimes noted, but it is really minimal
Handling
The car truly does handle well, it is zippy and responsive, both at highway speeds and slower city driving.
Safety & braking
My cruise control automatically engages - I have been told by GM that this is a "safety feature" designed to prevent the car from stalling when driven by inexperienced stick shifters. To me, this is a MAJOR safety hazard, not a safety feature.
