Introduction

I encourage everyone to seriously reconsider the purchase of Chevrolet Cruze - all I have had with since the purchase of the vehicle is nothing but problems!

Why the 2012 Chevrolet Cruze?

Fuel economy

it definitely has a real fuel efficient engine for the type of fuel - I have on highway gotten over 40mpg easy!

Exterior styling

this car has really sharp looks ! Every one seems to like how it looks ...

Handling

the car definitely sits really well on the road and handles really well on turns and being able to respond (when working properly) quickly!

Why Not the 2012 Chevrolet Cruze?

Powertrain performance

The car from the beginning has been having trouble responding consistently throughout the whole time that I have had the vehicle. Sometimes accelerating too quickly and other times really sluggish! Shifting irregularities, which include roughly shifting and sticking between shifts in certain gears, and furthermore fuel efficiency being irregularn and inconsistent.

Safety & braking

I have had to take the car multiple times to the dealer to repair noisy brakes in the front as well as the rear. The most recent problem now is the malfunctioning of the brake assist, which has only been discovered due to an increase in low speed accidents.

Rear seat room & comfort

Unfortunately there is no leg room in the rear of the car when the front seats are a particular distant from the dashboard. So either all the people when riding in this car need to be small people like no more then 5 foot?! or you can only have two 6 foot people in it at a time. needs serious improvements there!

Dealer practices

Honestly over the time that I have owned this vehicle, the overall workmanship, dependability, and reliability of the Chevrolet dealers has suffered considerably! Each time I take the vehicle to the dealer for repairs and complaints, there is a steady trend that the dealers claim that the vehicle has no problems and no reason for repairs. Yet in the last two weeks, I have gotten two independent diagnostics done on the car and codes have come back! yet just to see if the dealer will find anything ... have taken the car to them without reporting the codes to them ... and the end result - "nothing is wrong with the car" "you have a 100000 miles powertrain warranty - dont worry about it ... just wait until something major happens?" That is a serious risk and hazard to me and anyone else on the road! Not good at all!

Conclusion

This is the worst vehicle that Chevrolet ever brought out to the American Market ! Never purchase a Chevrolet Cruze and never ever consider a General Motors product!
