Introduction

I purchased my 2017 Volt back in April 2016 and it has been one of the best cars I have ever owened. It is quick and nible, comfortable plenty of space and great for how I use it. I have a 75km one-way commute to work, and the EV range is as such that I can make it to work on a full charge, and I will plug in the car at work and by the time I leave for work the battery is once again charge ready for my trip home. so far I have been averaging 0.3L/100km (~788mpg) the only time I use the on board generator is for trips beyond the 85km EV range. the first tank of fuel lasted for 8500km, and the second one is at about 9000 and is still 40% full.

What I was paying in fuel on my old vehicle (~600$/month) covers my payment on this car in wholeand since I charge at work (for free) the little in electricity I pay (~20$ a month) is negligible.

If you have a longer commute the Volt is Worth looking at, and new 16+ don't look as funky and scream "Hybrid" like the old volt or the Prius.
