What impressed me most about the car was the power it had, or at least felt it had. The electric motor instantly puts down the torque to pass.
GM over-developed this car, and it shows. In a way they had to, but that is no complaint from me. Everything is put together well with quality components from the interior to the engine bay. I would only bemoan the "black and decker" battery charging cord
Obvious.
Steering felt disconnected but had a nice weight to it. Despite the heft [and it is HEAVY] the car handles well and has a solid feel all around.
There are plenty of hybrids by now and every other one looks designed for/by pussies. The Volt has a sleek exterior that still manages to exude attitude. Styling gimmicks like the rear kammback windshield and center reverse lamp will appeal to some.
