Why the 2004 Chrysler Pacifica?

Rear seat room & comfort

Safety & braking

I really like the way it stops, very easy to control in an emergency braking. Saftey wise I like the idea of all the air bags for my family if I was ever to incounter an accident.

Audio & nav systems

The DVD system has very nice surround sound, for a OEM radio it really delivers. As for the NAV, I like the display in the instument cluster, as well as the all the data it has, such as gas stops, types of resturants...etc.

Interior styling

The first two rows of seats are very comfortable, having four adults sit in comfort is pricless. As for the styling, the wood and brushed aluminum gives a nice compliment to the leather on the inside.

Why Not the 2004 Chrysler Pacifica?

Powertrain performance

The Pacifica comes in at 4700lbs, add four adults and some gear, and the 3.5 is not enough motor. Although I do not have problems maintaining posted speeds fully loaded, I would like to be able to have a little more power.

Fuel economy

With todays fuel prices, the Pacifca is not for you if you city drive. I get around 14 to 16 in the city and on the highway I get around 19 to 21. Not the best out there on the road, but again weight and underpowered is the main cause.

Cargo capacity

If you are lucky enough like me to be able to have a large family, we use the back seat. Which means the cargo area becomes very small. I have gone as far to carry our luggage on a luggage rack for the reciever.
