We have owned our Pacifica for 3+ years and put over 40k miles on it now (bought at 59k, now has 100k). It has been a great family vehicle and has needed typical repair and maintenance, but nothing major.

The 4.0L V6 engine and accompanying transmission are are great power plant for the vehicle. Decent acceleration when you need it, but still good fuel economy when cruising.
With moderate driving, I have easily averaged 20+ mpg with mixed city/highway driving and 25+ mpg on long highway-only trips.
I am NOT a "minivan guy" and pretty much refuse to own one. But I needed the seat capacity and didn't want a giant SUV (yet) when we bought the Pacifica. With the 3rd-row seat option and 3 younger children, the Pacifica has been the perfect blend of styling and function.
Very smooth and quiet ride most times. The only issues have been motor mounts that needed to be replaced a couple times, common on Pacifica's from what I've read. Do NOT buy aftermarket mounts if you need them, or you'll be changing them again. Stick with OEM Mopar parts.
3rd row seat... great option, but difficult to get to and not really big enough for adults. Seats two kids without a problem though.
Motor mounts are troublesome on Pacifica's and prone to failure. Every car has its issues though. This one is not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of. Stick with Mopar replacement parts.
