121000 100 Vehicle began overheating while on a trip. Overheats after an hour of driving. Coolant is usually about a qt low each time. No leaks found yet, engine tests ok - no internal leaks. System losing about 2psi every 5 minutes on pressure test.
121000 500 Followup to overheating problem from July 2009. Leak finally became visible on rear heater tubes at coming from the firewall. Had shop bypass rear heat to address the problem. Outcome pending...
122000 170 This is a recurrance of the previous overheating problem. Temp gauge spiked and set off warning light. Shop ran diagnostics and found no leaks. Suspect electrical issue at instrument panel. Vehicle still overheats after an hour of constant running. Coolant is down by about 1/2 gallon. All leak tests performed but no leaks found yet.
123500 530 Coolant leak - present since July 09 finally became bad enough that it could be located. Turned out to be the water pump. Old pump was not correct for the vehicle - required additional labor to remove. Fingers crossed-I think we've got it this time! Oil pressure sending unit failed causing warning light to illuminate. Since the cause of the warning light could not be determined by driver, van was taken to shop immediately.
