Transmission failure - system would go into 'limp home' mode continuously. Replaced transmission with rebuilt unit containing new sensors, etc.
Still being checked by the dealer, no solution found yet. Car stopped to accelerate in a highway trip. Engine could be at high rpm but car at 15 mph when left to cool down, and once warm, would just not move. Transmission needed major overhaul at a cost of $2,500. Overhaul done and vehicle sold (at a cost of $3,500).
transmission solenoid pack and torque converter
Trans. fluid leak traced to solenoid pack. Leak I noticed wasn't near the apparent leak source
Transmission fluid leak; shop attempted to fix it by replacing one part, but a second part had to be replaced to fully fix the issue. Fixing the leak will require a second trip to the mechanic.
error codes P1776 & P0700, transmission control system malfunction...replaced solenoid. RPMs started running high when the engine light came on in 3rd & 4th gears
Right front CV joint and axle broke. Entire right driveshaft assembly replaced.
Transmission began downshifting hard out of overdrive at about 30 mph. Took to Aamco and they cleared a non transmission related code, reset trans control module, and problem fixed. No charge, found during free inspection.
Wheel side cover on transmission rusted out and started leaking trans fluid.
