2dr Coupe 372-horsepower 5.7L V8 5-speed shiftable automatic RWD

Why the 2012 Dodge Challenger?

Exterior styling

Profile is quite striking and garners many positive comments.

Interior styling

Seats are of good quality and quite comfortable for price. Also soft inserts on door interiors are a nice touch

Handling

For the size of the car, handling is very good.

Ride smoothness

Great ride especially for a muscle car. Ride smoothness and low noise level of cabin are both strong features of the Challenger as compared to other muscle cars

Price or payments

Good value for the price.

Why Not the 2012 Dodge Challenger?

Exterior styling

front of car is not as stylish as other muscle cars, particularly camaro.

Controls and instruments

climate controls are not intuitive nor are radio/sound system controls

Feature availability

Easy exit and memory options do not exist on Challenger RT

Rear seat room & comfort

While probably OK for short trips, but would not be comfortable for longer cruise even for small passengers

Handling

Acceleration and handling are somewhat inferior to other smaller muscle cars such as Camaro and Z but difference is not significant enough to outweigh the increased comfort and quietness of Challenger
