340-horsepower 5.7L V8 5-speed shiftable automatic RWD

Dodge Charger in Saskatchewan, Canada
Mar 2008 - Nov 2014
14880 mi   Left front tie rod end was loose.
22940   Power steering return line had a pin-hole sized leak. It would leak about a pint of fluid in 10km's
32860   Rear driveshaft coupler attachment bolt broke.
37200   Power steering return line blew apart causing a loss of power steering. Condition of the fluid indicated possible other internal issues so the pump and rack were replaced also.
47120   The windshield wipers would only work intermittently. The dealer replaced the signal/wiper/dimmer switch.
52080   Exhaust manifold stud broke
58300   Blower motor noisy CD Player skipped occasionally Start would click but not turn over the motor
71300 C $700 Yet another set of tie rod ends. This car has had 3 pairs installed since new Swaybar bushings and end links were worn out. Replaced with new aftermarket units. Rear wheel bearings had play. Replaced with new SKF units.

Dodge Charger in Arizona, United States
Apr 2007 - Apr 2012
5000 mi   The plastic plug's o-ring right above the transmission pan on the passenger side was leaking fluid. It was replaced in less than an hour at the dealer.
8000   The transmission interlock part was broken so the gear shifter would not shift out of park.
17000   Radio was not providing proper sound level to front speakers. The car died as I was making a turn going no faster than 10 to 15 miles per hour. I pulled over and it started right away. My research found that this issue has happened to other Charger owners and the dealers have not been able to determine issue. They replaced the radio with a new one but now there are more issues. The front speakers still don't work properly and now the 6 CD changer will not play the CD's and will not release them either.
17000   Replaced front speakers because of weak muffled sound. The same problem is still happening after replacing them. Now they have ordered another new radio to replace the new one we have which ate our CD's and an amplifier which should fix the weak sound.
20000   They replaced the radio and amplifier and now it seems to be working properly. They still need to extract our music CD's that were stuck in the CD player and send it back to us. What a nightmare it has been to fix this issue.
