I purchased my current mimi-van for the versatilty it provides me. The Stow N Go feature is terrific an improvement over having to lug the rear seat in and out of the van to increase cargo space

My van is equipped with the 3.8 litre, 6 speed automatic transmission. Have had no problems with it. Far superior to the 4 speed automatic transmissions I have had in my 3 previous Chrysler vans. I currently have 141,000 kms logged.
I find the van vety comfortable on a long trip. Equipped with a power driver's seat.
Changed the original Yokohama tires after wearing out at 55,000 kms. Install Michelin XRV4 Progency and have over 85,00 kms logged to date
Van is nicely equipped without a lot of electronics i.e. DVD etc.
I have owned a 1987 Dodge Caravan, 1992 Plymouth Grand Voyager, 1991 Plymouth Grand Voyager and a 1999 Plymouth Grand Voyager. My current 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan the best one I have owned. I have logged over a 1,000,000 kms with these mini-vans over the past 25 years. Had to replace a transmission in the 1992 van at 210,000 kms and the 1999 van at 94,000 kms. The replacement transmission in the 1999 van logged another 333,000 plus kms before I sent it to the scrap yeard. I will probably purchase one more van.
The only issue I have is with the braking system. It appears to be poorly designed and brake replacement is more frequent than in the past.
I did not like the Yokohama tires that were factory installed.
I have had excellent service out of all my mini-vans and would never heaitate to recommend the Chrysler brand to anyone.
