Why the 2003 Dodge Ram 1500?

Dealer practices

Bought it from Dave Smith in Kellogg, ID and they were very easy to work with...no haggling and below invoice pricing. They were fantastic.

Price or payments

Good pricing for the model, easy financing, incentives from Dodge.

Rear seat room & comfort

I like the 4 doors and at the time, Chevy and Ford were just coming out with the 4 door design and were much pricier.

Discounts & incentives

Same as above

Why Not the 2003 Dodge Ram 1500?

Fuel economy

I should have bought the Hemi 5.7L engine. The 4.7 is awful...gutless and I get about 13 mpg in a rural setting and can get about 15 in the highway. I drive very conservatively.

Quietness

The small, weak engine is really loud. Cab noise is above what it should be.

Powertrain performance

Gutless...bottom line.
