Stylish, great color choices
Some controls are difficult to access, such as heated front seats, radio controls on the steering wheel and poer window switches. Retro look is no longer appealing as years ago.
Very slow. Manual transmissions on 2012-2016 models have a defective clutch assembly that's on recall.
Good fuel economy with manual, but most compacts with auto are more frugal and much faster.
Handling is good, nothing special. Mostly good for city driving.
Why Not the 2015 Fiat 500?
Brakes started squeaking at 5000 miles. Another annoyance in the many list of annoyances.
Very firm ride on smooth roads, harsh on bad ones. Lots of queaks and rattles.
Very noisy, especially at speeds over 60 mph.
Roomy in front but narrow. With two people in front you're bound to rub shoulders or arms when using the arm rests.
I would not put anyone on the rear seats. Maybe very short people for short distances.
Other Features of the 2015 Fiat 500
Not much room in the trunk, even with the rear seats down. Maybe enough for one or two people. But it is what it is, a very tiny car with limited cargo space.
Impressive list of standard equipment.
Very cheap looking plastics.
One of the least reliable cars in the U.S. Many problems.
Way at the bottom of the totum pole. Terrible service by dealers. FCA does not stand behind FIAT, in my opinion.
