32000 US $660 Clunking noise and feel in steering when turning, growing worse over last month. Fear that some component might fail, resulting in an unsafe driving condition at speed. Dealer blamed noise on failed upper front strut mounts. Replaced same.
33000   The clunking noise when turning (especially while hitting a bump during a turn) is back. It is quite noticible, even to the dealer. They say they do not know the cause, have already replaced the likely causes at my expense, live with it. Clunking noise previously reported and supposedly repaired last month was still not completely gone. This time the steering box had to be replaced. Noise is completely gone now.
39000   This time a different mechanic at same dealership noticed the noises right away on test drive. He tightened loose suspension parts and noises went away. They have not returned in over 3 weeks/ 1,500 miles. No charge. Why wasn't this done b4
