Jun 2010 C $500 Front lower ball joints replaced, front wheel bearings replaced and wheels aligned as car was wearing the tires on the inside.

Dec 2008 US $288 Stuck brake caliper on rear right wheel. Wore down brake rotor, required replacement of caliper, pad, & rotor. Also had to flush brake fluid.  
Nov 2009   Starter failed without warning, requiring towing to shop & replacement of starter 
Dec 2009   Alternator failed 
Jul 2010   Leaking gasket, oil pan

Sep 2008 US $1225 Replaced starter. Rack developed leak making steering difficult. Rack was replaced. 
May 2010   Fuel system contamination. Remove & drain gas tank, replace fuel filter, put gas and drying agent in gas tank. 
Oct 2011   Coil failed, and fuel pump was intermittent. Both were replaced. 
Nov 2011   Serpentine belt started going bad. It was replaced. Also decided to replace all hoses as preventive maintenance. It was time 
Mar 2013   Idler pulley was going bad - causing serpentine belt to shift - causing lip of water pump pulley assembly to shear off - with risk that serpentine belt would come off the entire assembly. Idler pulley, water pump & serpentine belt replace.

Sep 2008 US $2700 Torque Converter fragmented in transmission causing transmission pump performance failure and gear damage. No light indication. A whining pump noise at start up, which disappeared after warm up, was only indication. Dealer identified problem too late.  
Jul 2009   Power steering problem, turning wheel, and whining pump noise. Rack and Pinion were replaced, as Sears said it was leaking and noise would go away in time when air in the lines came out. One week later power steering pump was replaced, which fixed problem

Oct 2008 C $442 A complete brake repair, which included 4 new rotors, new pads, and a calipers service. 
Jul 2009   Replaced right tierod end (steering was off and there was a pull to one side.) 
Jun 2010   AC was working intermittently. Could not replicate problem at shop. No codes when scan done. Topped up refrigerant and has worked OK. 
Aug 2011   24 feet of brake line & parking cables replaced. 
Sep 2011   The alternator burned out and took the battery with it. Car was in for 2 days.

Sep 2008 US $275 Car required repairs to wheel bearings. 
Mar 2009   Unable to get heat. Opted not to fix the bad heater core, bypassed it to allow A/C to work. 
Nov 2009   Water pump failed, coolant drained out. Replaced pump and belts.
