Why the 2006 GMC Canyon?

Discounts & incentives

Buy American. This truck is as good as any Japanese truck. There were significant incentives on the GMC, more than on the identical Chevy version so shop carefully and check websites like Edmunds and cars.com

Ride smoothness

Mine has the standard suspension with alloy wheels. Ride is excellent even when loaded with cargo.

Fuel economy

I regularly get 21-22mpg combo city/commute using regular gas. I have gotten 27-28mpg hwy on long trips. In my book this is excellent

Powertrain performance

Mine is the 2.8L 4 cyl. It has plenty of power to accelerate onto the freeway and haul loads. Auto transmission is smooth shifting.

Quietness

I commute in this truck. It is quiet, no wind noise, no engine noise, no squeaks.
