Why the 2004 Honda Accord?

Reliability & durability

Its a low maintenance car that is generally reliable

Fuel economy

30-34 highway miles per gallon is pretty good for a car of its size.

Front seat support & comfort

The leather seats are soft and comfortable enough for long trips without losing the ability to bolster the driver during spirited motoring.

Driving position & visibility

Like most hondas, the driving position is perfectly setup for excellent visibility, and reach of controls.

Insurance cost

The insurance rate is rather low compared to other sport sedans I have owned. The Hondas generally depreciate slower than most other cars on the market.

Why Not the 2004 Honda Accord?

Exterior styling

rear tail lights are ugly. The factory wheel choices are bland.

Ride smoothness

road noise.

Audio & nav systems

no mp3 capability from the factory. This was resolved in the 08 models.

Handling

No LSD, and no performance tire option from the factory. I guess this is not a bad tradeoff for a family sedan.
