Reliability & durability
Havent had one problem since bought new in 2005. Baby the car and change the oil at 3500 mile intervals myself since I have a thing about sediments and such left in the engine over time.
Price or payments
Price was 19 out the door including tax for me new in MT. Dealership cost may be high, but the chances your car is going to break down is nil, so thats even more thirft.
Fuel economy
I average about 28 mpg, which is great for a mid size sedan.
Insurance cost
Insurance is low for a 22 years old(550-6 months), car is still valued at approxmately 14000 dealer retail.
Ride smoothness
Exceptionally smooth acceleration. Relatively smooth ride.
Safety & braking
Brakes overheat sometimes too prematurely, 3.5-4 star driver side impact rating. Relatively thin Sheet metal and plastic reinforcement.
Exterior styling
Looks like something only a soccer mom can appreciate, for the most part.
Handling
While responsive, the handling offers no feedback and kind of keeps you guessing if the fwd tires are slipping or not.
Feature availability
The only one is AT.
Powertrain performance
While having exceptionally smooth accel, perhaps a by product is that power is simply not there with added heft to the car.
