Introduction

I bought this car new just a few days over 4 years ago. As of yesterday I have driven my Fit 200,555 miles. I am a medical courier and drive in town and freeway driving. Mileage has been a low of 25 and a high of 37. I average 31. The ONLY probems I have experienced are a right front wheel bearing needing replacement and my drivers seat had the aluminum strut wear through the padding and seat cover. (I am in and out of the car all day making deliveries). The upholstry shop said the 2012 and 2013 design was flawed. They glued carpet padding over the sharp edges of the aluminum supports, used more padding and a very durable cover.

I have taken several trips of varying lengths. The longest was from Oregon to Iowa and back in 4 days (nearly 4,000 miles).

The Fit is a bit noisy due to lack of sound deading materials but I deal with it fine. Better tires quiets it down somewhat.

The amount of items that I have been able to haul and deliver in the Fit is nothing short of amazing. I have unloaded lots of cargo and had folks wonder how on earth it all fit in! It's a FIT!

Love this car. There are quieter, smoother riding cars, but the price point for a car that will carry as many items as I do and with the economy of the Fit is amazing. For the purchase price of about $16,500 it is a steal.

UPDATE: 1/26/2020
My son has had this car for the past 4 1/2 years. It wasn't been driven near as much as I did as I bought a new vehicle for my business. My son has been living out of the country and no longer has need of this car. I am in the process of getting it serviced. It now has 279,000 miles on the odometer. Still runs as good as I remember it. All my previous thoughts about this car remain the same.
