Cargo capacity
It is great that a 4 ft x 8 ft sheet of plywood or Sheetrock will easily slide in if the seats are folded away.
Materials & workmanship
Compared to a mid-90's Dodge Caravan the Odyssey seems very we'll built. The fit and finish are very smooth and solid.
Front seat support & comfort
The driver's seat has a lot of adjustments available and it is easy to adjust for myself or my wife. I find it easy to get comfortable, even for long trips.
Handling
We always seem to have problems with the van pulling to the right. After new tires or an alignment it seems the pulling problem creeps back in a moth or so. Have had the van for 8 years and have never felt this problem has been solved by the Honda service center.
Materials & workmanship
Not really sure which category to put this in. We have been plagued by sliding door problems with this van. The doors will start to jam and bounce and require someone on the outside to "bump" their hip into the door to get it to latch. Otherwise it will automatically reopen. Honda is happy to fix this but at a couple of hundred dollars every time they touch the door we can't afford to keep the doors running smoothly. Manually closing the doors is difficult because of how stiff it becomes.
The Honda Odyssey is a wonderful vehicle that I felt was safe for my family and met our needs. Although we had trouble with the sliding doors and the alignment, the pros far outweighed the cons.
