Our 2013 Odyssey has racked up over 145k as of May 2016. We drive A LOT! So our use is not normal by any means. If you want to know how our Odyssey held up, this may be the review you want to read.

Introduction

Decent torque from the 3.5 litre drivetrain. For long trips use 91 octane for best fuel efficiency. We managed 500 miles on a tank of 91 octane on a trip from San Diego to San Jose! We're starting to get a vibration from the transmission though.....Similar feel to our previous Odyssey before the transmission had problems and we had to sell it. =( (We are now at 145,xxx miles so at least this one lasted longer than our previous. Our previous Odyssey's transmission started having issues at 90k miles, after the dealer updated the software....)
Our experience Odysseys (we've had 4) has always been how they handle well. Why do manufacturers feel that family cars need to drive like Cadillacs of the past? The brakes however are horrible. We needed to either machine the rotors or replace the rotors every 7,500 miles on average. It gets EXPENSIVE!
Aside from the brakes, it's not too bad. Our shocks started leaking at 130,xxx miles. The passenger sliding door would jam at times but after our tech lubricated the sliders, everything appears to be fine now. The hydraulic belt tensioner started to fail prematurely, they're suppose to last 120k, our started making noises and was replaced at 80k.
Why Not the 2013 Honda Odyssey?
Not very quiet when compared to other makes and models.
I cannot compain enough about the brakes. The brakes on our 2013 Odyssey Touring is the absolute worse part about this otherwise terrific van. Brake job (machine rotors or replace rotors) every 7,500 miles is rediculous and expensive!
Other Features of the 2013 Honda Odyssey
If Honda is reading..... 1. Fix the brakes! 2. Get us better headlights/foglights 3. AWD? 4. Sport model?
Conclusion
Aside from horrid brakes and not so great headlights, the Odyssey has been a pleasure to own. Handling is one of it's best assets, flexibility to perform many tasks is another. Layout of the cabin is intuitive and the controls easy to identify. A self level would be a nice option, so our headlights aren't pointing blindly at opposing drivers.
A very "nice" van....does all that you ask and does it well. Did I mention the brakes sucks?
