Transmission was shuddering on acceleration. A change of fluids "fixed" the problem. The dealer had been recommending the change at each oil maintenance appt. and we finally had them do the change. Another mechanic we consulted about the suggested fluid change said his sources said it wasn't necessary to change the fluids...? But we did and it fixed the funny shake.

41900 mi The program for the transmission was updated and the transmission fluid was changed by the dealer at no cost under an extended warranty to eliminate roughness in the torque converter operation. At the same time, the left front axle assembly was replaced in an unsuccessful attempt to eliminate a low frequency vibration that appears at speeds above 70 mph.

88000 mi

US $400
Skipping transmission Needed full service with fluid flush and exchange
19720 mi When lightly modulating the throttle the vehicle will coast then suddenly/harshly downshift/lock the torque converter. Worst at low speeds like when in stop and go traffic.

2014 Odyssee never shifted well, and became worse over time. I drained the trans fluid and replaced 3 times with a 10 drive in between changes. Transmission shifts perfectly now, much better than when new. I used Honda atf
9000 mi Dealer replaced right side driveshaft assy.
47800 mi Car was demonstrating judder/hesitation when driving at speeds about 20 mph. Quick google search showed a TSB that had a remedy for the problem
10000 mi Transmission intermittently juddering in 1st and 2nd gear. Dealer can't reproduce. Fed up at this point. Traded car for Toyota.
