0 Purchased new, missing one pin-stripe (dealer installed) and rear hatch finger pull cup fell out.
14000 0 One of the rear sway bar fasteners came loose, resulted in rattling and clunking sounds from the rear of the car. Dealer re-torqued the bolt, everything seems fine now. Gas tank cap doesn't pop out, need to pry it with my fingers. At first dealer lubricated the lock, worked for 1 day. This time they ordered whole new assembly, will replace it when it arrives. Warranty service.
19000 0 Turns out dealer didn't really order the part as stated last time. This time they adjusted the gas cap door (as opposed to just greasing it the last time) and it has been working fine since.
30000 0 Tire leaking, discovered valve stem broken. Took car to the nearest non-Hyundai tire place, they yanked out the TPMS valve and chucked it. Had to take it to Hyundai and pay $200 to have new TPMS valve put in. Warranty would have covered it.
33000 500 Braking at highway speeds made the car shake violently. E-brake wouldn't hold well and intermittent humming noise was heard on highway. Dealer resurfaced rotors, adjusted e-brake. Also adjusted fuel door as always.

4000 0 Called dealer for warranty service - keyless entry function stopped working. Dealer advised me to remove PDL fuse for 15 minutes. Keyless feature resumed working.
6000 0 Warranty service for non-functional rear wiper, cover on steering wheel missed stitches/peeling, recurrent keyless entry non-operation and power door lock failure. TPMS system also non-functional.
9300 0 Warranty service for recurrent airbag light, rear wiper (again), and keyless entry/door locks (third time). The door locks now only work when the car is on and running and neither keyless remote functions.
10700 0 New steering wheel cover installed.
19000 0 Fuel filler door release spring failed. Part backordered.
26000 0 Dealer has yet to receive parts for this problem. Suspect not ordered. Living with semi-functional fuel filler door for now. Valve stem with integral TPMS sensor broke off in hand while attempting to fill tire. Nearest dealer with parts assured problem could be fixed quickly under warranty. Dlr refused svce and attempted to charge. No damage to wheel/tire. Valve stem repaired under Hyundai warranty. Sick of dealing with Hyundai North America and spotty dealer network. Sold car, took proceeds and banked most - spent rest on used Saab 9-5. I'd rather have a fun unreliable car than a boring one.

5700 0 Outside fuel door would not open when pulling handle in drivers compartment. Dealer re-adjusted mechanism. Repair OK.
19700 75 The ESC light came on and would not reset. Dealer ordered a new steering column with steering angle sensor. The AC control head, in the dash, quit working. No AC! Dealer claimed a leak but could not find the leak. Put dye in system to help identify leak area. Wife took car back to dealer the day after the AC dye was put in. NO AC working. Dealer replaced AC compressor. The AC control head the dealer ordered previously finally arrived. The dealer installed the control head. The steering column with steering angle sensor the dealer previously ordered arrived. They installed the parts.
