Introduction

08/27/2013 UPDATE:2013 was an expensive year! The clutch went at 105,252, the A/C compressor wwnt at 108,280. Can't really complain

01/30/2013 UPDATE: I bought this car in 2012 and reviewed it after about 15k miles. V-6, 348 hp, 295 torque, MT, RWD I have just passed 90k combpined highway/city miles and thought this a good time to update.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: The car has held up quite well. It's my daily driver. I like to drive fast.I've kept it fully stock with no mods except for a mod to autoclose the sunroof on shutdown and a Blox shifter knob. The oil's been changed every 3-4k miles and the tires are on the fourth set of high performance summer tires--Michelin SuperSports--since they last only ~30k miles. The Idler pully and tensioner went at 58k and was replaced under warranty. I replaced the rear Brembos at 50k and the fronts at 80k. The PS and brake fluids were just flushed at 90K. The only problems the car has had have been weird ones.

The first problem is minor. The car has thrown code P050A at least a dozen times. The first time (at 22K) the dealer replaced the Throttle Body Assembly. It reappeared a few more times with the dealer finding no reason for it. Now it still appears every few months but I just clear it with no ill effects.

The second problem was was a real problem. The pushbutton start would not work. They replaced the button and it failed again two weeks later. It took them a month to diagnose and fix. They had to get a "Smart Key Module" from Korea which took a couple of weeks. Even though the car had 80k miles, the repair was completed at no charge.

The paint has held up well. Aside from a few nicks here and there, the car looks great. The interior is still excellent with little sign of wear. I usually keep my cars beyond 100K and it looks like I'll be keeping this one as well. Frankly, I don't know what I would replace it with...
