2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz Pros and Cons at TrueDelta: Great Truck for the Home Owner by CASD1957
Member2417
I've had my 2022 SE FWD Santa Cruz since Oct 2021
Only probably I've had is an hesitation that happens once in a while but the Dealer did as Software update and relearned the transmission and it's been mostly fine since..
Great truck for people who do Home Depot/Lowes runs...
I've even hauled 12 ft boards, you just need to secure them...
I avg. through Fuelly 24.2mpg thats 98% city top speed 45mph some lights..
I have gotten as much as 33mpg on a road trip..
But if I was going to budget money It would be safe to say 22mpg 100% city and 28-30mpg Freeway
Handles great...feels like a SUV...rides like a firm car
Base Radio is weak(Power)
Pro's
Gas Mileage
Can haul enough (Home Owner) but not enough to be asked to help move someone :)
Feels like a well designed SUV
Fit and finish is great...doesn't feel cheap like it's competitor
The Base engine and auto is fast enough for your avg person...
Con's
It hestitates sometimes... Flat spot and then it goes...not all the time tho
Shutting the doors sounds/feels like a tin can..doors need insulation
Base Radio is weak power wise
