Introduction

Cars can be OK, but cheap plastics and dealerships that don't care make these cars a headache......

Why the 2008 Hyundai Tiburon?

Why Not the 2008 Hyundai Tiburon?

Materials & workmanship

Car hatch has leaked since purchased new, and North Park Hyundai (in Covington) made a few attempts to fix it (fixed a few of the leaks), but ignored me and made a fool of me after that - treated me like I was bothering them, even after purchasing 5 new vehicles from this dealership. Sent me away to other dealers that wouldn't fix a Hyundai if it was not purchased there.

Materials & workmanship

Paint on spoiler and headlamps are fading - kept this car up really well, yet (still) exterior plastics are failing.

Materials & workmanship

Interior panels - some are peeling, and getting brittle.

Audio & nav systems

CD player failed when new - but the dealership actually DID stand by this one, and fix it.

Conclusion

5 New Hyundais - all had unexpected problems. All had to be brought back in warranty period to dealerships that didn't care, and sometimes failed to fix them. DON'T worry ONLY abour the PRICE of these cars - VISIT THE SERVICE DEPARTMENTS and make sure you TRUST THEM, FULLY, before buying
