Reviewed: 2008 Infiniti G

4dr Sedan 306-horsepower 3.5L V6 5-speed shiftable automatic AWD

Why the 2008 Infiniti G?

Powertrain performance

Extremely responsive throttle, plenty of low end torque, and lots of high rev horsepower. Sport auto-tranny with paddle shifters responds well and lets you keep the revs high.

Interior styling

The interior is beautiful and tactile. The bolstered seats are amazing and the controls are intuitive. A backseat that can actually accommodate adults.

Handling

Good cornering grip. Taught suspension. Handles batter than a car of its size should.

Reliability & durability

Reliability was listed as above average and have owned other Nissan products that were reliable.

Exterior styling

18 inch wheels look great and spoiler adds weight to the rear end to balance the large swooping hood.

Why Not the 2008 Infiniti G?

Fuel economy

With all that power available its hard not to use it. Expect in city driving to deliver less than 20mpg.

Depreciation

depreciates more than a BMW or Lexus

Exterior styling

I was not a fan of it at all until I saw the sport model with 18inch rims and spoiler.

Cargo capacity

Not really anything not to like, its a sedan. Trunk space is actually good.
