300-horsepower 4.2L V8 6-speed shiftable automatic RWD

Jaguar XF in Washington, United States
Apr 2008 - Jul 2011
Amber check engine light illuminated at around 200 mi. Dealer checked all sensors and other relevant potential causes, but none were out of spec. Reset light and we picked it up. It hasn't repeated itself after another 500 mi. Moonroof switch doesn't work reliably, so they ordered a replacement. Squeaked/moaned in the moonroof area from the time we received it. They re-attached clips while it was in for the other issues.
10000 mi   Repaired seatbelts and wipers. Repaired speakers. Repaired instrument cluster.
19000 US $300 Headliner creaking. This is the second time this problem has appeared. Rattle in driver door. Dealer couldn't replicate it, so they didn't repair it. It still exists. The fuel door recall fix is embarrassingly poorly done. I am very dissatisfied with it. The dealer bent the door back in place, but otherwise left it alone. The right headlight was shaking. They tightened the bolt, but it was still shaking some.  After they looked at it again, they said it was fine; there was nothing wrong with it.
31000   Sunroof creaking. Third time in for this, but it was done successfully (finally) The transmission wouldn't engage out of "Park." Parts were replaced, but not sure what. Works fine now.
40000   Map light assembly became faulty, so the dealer replaced it under warranty

2000   Wiper motor would not shut off. Replaced wiper motor. Front Door Speakers - static and not working - fixed electrical short in door
7000   Static from speaker even when car is off.

2009 Jaguar XF 4-door

supercharged 8-cylinder automatic 2WD

Jaguar XF in New Jersey, United States
Feb 2008 - Aug 2011
5000 mi   Failed turn signal indicators; dashboard module needed to be replaced.
Jaguar XF in Georgia, United States
Apr 2008 - Jun 2011
3000 mi   Knocking or clunking noise from front suspension. Intermittent problem that dealer cannot recreate or fix.
5000   Fixed knocking noise in the front. There was a TSB for lubing the front brake calipers that expand and "clunk" with heat.  Complete replacement of console unit to fix electrical problem with door chimes, seat beat warning, lights on warning, and turn signals. Headliner was missing some clips that allowed for excessive travel and flex, therefore allowing rattles and squeaks.
11000   Brake brackets were too loose and made a "knocking" noise.
