Fuel economy

averaging 37mpg (UK)over 7000 miles of mixed roads... I consider that better than average for this size engine.

Quietness

very smooth and quiet engine noise, and on all types of roads, very little noise intrusion, although have noticed as tyres start to wear, some tyre noise on some road surfaces does make itself heard

Reliability & durability

Well, nothing at all has gone wrong with it so far, so what more can one ask?

Audio & nav systems

Very slow and fiddly touch screen operation, satnav is not intuitive, no mp3 compatibility with cd player on latest model year, so have to pay for USB/IPOD docking port.

Rear seat room & comfort

not as roomy in the rear compared to, say, the BMW 5 series, especially with the front seats set all the way back.
