Why the 2006 Jaguar XJ?

Ride smoothness

The air suspension made it seem as if one was floating on a magic carpet. An excellent highway cruising vehicle.

Front seat room

Plenty of room in the big cat, however never could get comfortable behind the wheel. While large and spacious, the seats were hard, lacked lumbar support, and did not fit my back well.

Quietness

An extremely quiet experience akin to being in a library.

Exterior styling

The classic big Jag lines in a larger more day to day friendly size. This one turned heads and I even had pedestrians stop in a cross walk to let the car go before them! Seriously

Powertrain performance

Straight line performance amazing - once the ZF trans kicked down, it would take off like a rocket.

Why Not the 2006 Jaguar XJ?

Materials & workmanship

Everything broke - interior parts would fall off while driving! They all had FORD motor company stamped on the back of them. Three gas tanks in 38,000 miles - because the fuel pump would go and it was built into the tank. NIGHTMARE!!!
