Introduction

I test drove a Grand Cherokee and without the 5.7L HEMI it felt underpowered and either way it was too big for a second vehicle. Coming from a 2 door Wrangler I wanted something bigger and the Cherokee fit the bill.

2014 Jeep Cherokee Love Letter

The exterior is unique, unlike all the other CUVs that look the same. The TrailHwak I have is distinctive and I like the agressive look with the matte black decals, red Trail Rated badges, and zinc gray trim.

The interior is very nice, it is full of thoughtful storage, high end materials and craftsmanship in general is good. Ergonomically it is perfect for me and the sunroof is huge, a big plus in my book.

The engine keeps up well at least in the V6 I drive, the transmission on mine shifts perfectly 99% of the time with an occassional rough shift from first to second. I have learned to avoid this now by making sure I keep accelerating as the Jeep shifts, this seems to keep the shift smooth.

Conclusion

I would recommend a TrialHawk over an Escape, Equinox, CRV, RAV-4 and Forester because it is more modern and capable than any of these.
