Introduction

Bought new in AZ. 2014 Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 with V6 Pentastar Engine. Has an amazing 8 speed transmission that shifts smooth as silk and does an excellent job of keeping the torque curve in a good spot for quick smooth acceleration. Interior features are very nice. Leather seats are heated, leather steering wheel is heated, rear seats are heated, has large easy to read and operate touch screen that also has navigation feature. I have driven this vehicle from AZ. to WA. and back 2 times and average gas milaeage both times was in the 27+ mpg range and that number is both via evic system on vehicle and figured by pump fill up within .2 of a mile. Ride is very comfortable, handling is very good, heat and air operation is very good and has good distribution including to rear seat area. There is plenty of storage compartments in front and rear cabin area and sufficient storage area in rear for cargo. Visibility from drivers seat is very good. Brake system is very good. Sound system I have is not top of line upgradeis average but adequate. (I do not buy a vehicle for the sound system). Both Wife and I are very pleased with this Jeep. I have owned 3 other Jeeps in my life, none Grand Cherokee, and have been satisfied with all of them for the "type" of application and use. The 2014 Grand Cherokee in my opinion is a winner and a good buy for the money. Of course you can get the more expensive models ie: Overland, Summit, SRT, but the Limited we bought was sufficient for us and the V6 Pentastar coupled with the 8 speed transmission is a great combination. I drove the same Limited model with the Hemi V8 and although it did have "much" more power, I decided on the V6 since it is very quick itself and by far no means a dog. Anyone that tells you the new V6 Pentastar is a slow engine either has never driven one or wants a rocket ship.

2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Love Letter

No reason not to want this car.

Conclusion

Only con about the new Grand Cherokee, is the battery is located in the passenger compartment under the front passenger seat. That's about it.
