Introduction

We love our Overland but it has given us more than enough heartburn along the way.

Why the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Why Not the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Reliability & durability

Air suspension was problematic and took over a month at the dealer and 4 visits to finally get fixed. Also had problems with the radio and the memory settings getting wiped out. Occassional electric gremlins.

Other Features of the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Quietness

Has an anoying rattle from the driver front dash/windshield area that has been difficult to correct.

Conclusion

Would cautiously recommend. It fits a unique niche for us being a smallish SUV that has excellent towing capabilities and is well equipped and stylishly designed

Not sure if it's the same rattle, but my 2014 GC had a rattle. The root cause was a couple stickers/decals on the back of the felt glove box. The stickers identified the part numbers for parts of the glove box, and they would rattle at low rpm (900 to 1100 rpm). After removing the stickers, the rattle went away.
