Why the 2007 Jeep Wrangler?

Exterior styling

The new JK Wrangler has a modern appearance, yet retains the classic utilitarian image of the oldest current production model in the world.

Reliability & durability

Being a new model, the JK has certainly had its share of issues, but from an off-road standpoint it is a very strong and reliable vehicle

Safety & braking

Braking performance is good, the use of the new traction control and ABS systems seems very effective from a safety standpoint and even boosts traction. The crash tests (and owner experiences) of the JK has been extremely impressive.

Audio & nav systems

While not a reference system in the automotive world, the optional Infinity speaker system is very strong, especially for an open air Jeep. The Nav/Mygig options are quite good as well.

Color choices

The JK has a nice selection of color choices, and generally the appearance of the finish is quite good, again relative to previous Jeep Wranglers.

Why Not the 2007 Jeep Wrangler?

Materials & workmanship

There have been a lot of complaints about some of the fit and finish aspects of the JK, my peronal experience has been good though.

Dealer practices

There have been a lot of instances of dealers gouging on the JK, especially Rubicon Unlimited models, though this seems to be leveling off as the newness of the model line is wearing off.
